Well this year did NOT go as planned. Life happens ...and when it does, all good intentions go out the window. I didn't get to upload all the images of work that I wanted to (some of these are from my Instagram) due to them being a work in progress. Which...is perfectly fine. That's just how it goes..... I guess.....meh
Overall 2016 was a pretty good year. MINUS DECEMBER. DEAR GOD DECEMBER WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?!!?!
Anyway, I tried a lot of new things, like getting an art buisness going, learned how to make Kanzashi, entered some new contests I've never entered before (Iowa State Fair and Anime Demoii art contests), and my digital skills developed a little bit more. I attempted Inktober again, and made it through 3/4ths of it, which compared to 2015...is progress indeed. Some aspects of drawing matured more than others (in regards to theme, or story telling, etc).
Fun Stats:
This year I uploaded 19 Deviations to DA (compared to 60 deviations in 2015). D: Some images contained multiple images (like the drawings of all the senior staff members), so that number probably should be 32. Of those 19 official deviations, 3 of them were watercolor. Apparently I should do more traditional work. I get more done. XD
Goal is still to get to 100 deviations in a year....EVENTUALLY!
2016's days are numbered, so when it's over....have a happy 2017! ;D
