May Lolita

Created with Watercolors, Acrylics, and Colored Pencil (as always).

I started doodling this gal (and June lolita) on January 2nd, and didnt get around to coloring her till tonight (the 8th). I'm not really done sketching June yet, but when I am, she shall be uploaded. Anyway, I wanted May to have a theme of planting or a beginning of spring. I dont know when butterflies hatch (probably in summer) but maybe she's going to plant seeds that will be food for butterflies? :3

Applogies for my crappy camera yet again. I really need to stop taking pictures of my art at 1am, with crappy lamp light (natural light is the BEST for picture taking). I tried to enhance some of the colors, but it still looks pretty blah. D:

On a side note, Those butterflies took longer than what I was originally intending. However, they look amazing (considering I've never drawn/painted realistic butterflies before). :3
