Reclamation From Prayer Tower

Done with 80% watercolor, 17%Acrylic, and 3%lead.

Thought I was done with the "Senshi Royalty Project" and at Moon-Shadow-1985 's request, I went ahead and drew Kousagi, from Parallel Sailor moon with the Moon Prayer Tower (inside the Mare Serenitatis Castle).

Oddly enough this picture took A LOT longer than I anticipated....which I guess for me should be considered normal, cuz straight lines are the bane of my existence. OTL

I wanted to design this dress to be similar to the other Moon Royalty (Queen Serenity Senior, Neo Queen Serenity, and Small Lady Serenity) but also have a slightly different style. Hence the bust of the dress, and the crescent moon dangles on Kousagi's forehead echos Queen Serenity Senior's dress/design.  So instead of Princess Serenity shoulder circles, Kousagi gets two crescent moon shoulder circle thingi's. I REALLY like the shoulder cresents....despite knowing in the back of my crafty mind they would be insanely difficult to make. But hey, I'm an artist, I can make the impossible happen if I want. Muwahahaha!

For a while Kousagi's lowest skirt was dark blue (like the horizon) and tended to blend too well into the background. So I changed the bottom skirt to Yellow (hence the 17% acrylic, cuz I didn't plan as far in advance as I should have), which pops her out of the dark background nicely. Plus it would match her sailor uniform as well....who knew?! lol.
