Sensibility of the Tiger Lillies

Done with 96% watercolor, 3% acrylic, and 1%colored pencil.

Sorry guys that it took me so long to upload something! I made the mistake of working on Mars, Venus, and Mercury's pictures at the same time...so it's taking me a lot longer than I anticipated.

I paired Sailor Mars and Jadite with Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. Rei tends to have more sense than the other senshi, however sometimes her fanciful Sensibilities can get in the way....which is fine....cus thats what makes us human. I really enjoyed drawing and painting Jadite carrying Mars princess style, despite my inner self loathing of drawing something sooo....pathetically adorable. Oh well...it seems that pathetic romantic drawings is what I do best. The question is...why is Jadite carrying mars? Meh, who knows.....

 (Self critique rambling alert! Reading the following may inform you of the weaknesses of this work AND may make you like it less. You have been warned!) Some of the quirks of the picture that bug me is that that house leans slightly to the left. Apparently I was drawing my horizon line at an angle without double checking and BAAAAAAH! CROOKED HOUSE! Also the picture tends to be slightly prone to be heavier to the left (especially with the house in the background), but the tree on the right side tends to make it less off balanced. Oh the woes of composition. Also one of the many weak points of mine is FLOWERS. Yes I can draw them, but that take friggen forever to draw/paint, drive me nuts, and still dont look good. D: And the last quirk is I cut off Jadites foot at the bottom. Too bad Jadite. You get one foot now. Bwhahahahah!
