Done with 92% watercolor, 5% acrylic, and 3% colored lead...of some kind.
This picture was 99% done last week, but I put off uploading it because LIFE and RESPONSIBILITY dictated that I do other things...like mow grass before it rained again. I tweaked it to be passable today, and decided to upload it.
I wasnt expecting to do a mercury picture so soon, but hey even I can surprise myself. I had a love hate relationship with that chess board though. I used to play chess in highschool, but discontinued when I got to college due to lack of time....so seeing tuxedo mask in a "check" is kinda amusing to me. The placement of all the evil queens on the chess board still irks me visually, but meh whatever...I know for the next time I draw a chess board.....

Oh gosh where to begin? Love all the small details, like how the whites pieces are the heroes and the black pieces are the villains, and that you included that Ami likes playing chess. Also that the chess board isn't really real just an illusion?
